He was predeceased by: his wife Lessi Lee Christiansen; his parents, Mary Sophia Augusta Lessman and Otto Edward Christiansen; and his brothers, Harry Edward Christiansen and Alfred George Christiansen.

He is survived by: his son Randy Christiansen (Cynthia); his granddaughter Raven Christiansen; his sister-in-law Dorris Grubbs Christiansen; his niece Deb Veres (Jeff); his nephew Wayne Christiansen; and also, Katie Sutter (Hutch), Jason Veres (Tanya), Josh Veres and Joey Christiansen.
