He is survived by: his wife Georgia Buckelew Hunt; his children, Zena Strickland (Caleb), James Buckelew and Justin Hunt; his siblings, Jack Hunt (Pam) and Tami Hunt; and his grandchildren, Emorie Thompson, Linley Cupp and Ryder Cupp.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Children's Hospital.
