She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Humphries and Bertha Hart Humphries; her husband Bro. Mack Carter; her siblings, Tolbert Humphries, Elizabeth Mabe, Troy Humphries, Lois Wright and Faye Briscoe; and her grandson Dustin Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Carter (Becky), Gary Carter (Valerie) and Judy Hulsey (Kenneth); and her sisters, Edith Bennett and Vernell McCravy (Billy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
