We bid farewell to Lena Elizabeth Johnson of Vinemont, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Lena Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Steele and Clercy Inez Sellers Steele; and her siblings, Pete Steele, Maxine Johnson of Rhonda Steele, R. V, Harvey Steele and Ira Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Carter, Paul Skinner, Ray Skinner and Angie Calloway; her siblings, Robert Steele, Shorty Steele (Starlon), Sam Steele, Stella King, Sarah Hawthorne (Lawrence) and Nadine Carvell; and her grandchildren, Allen Carter, Justin Williams, Justina Williams, James Calloway (Katie), Jill Linton, Daniel Calloway and Angel Calloway. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
