He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Arcadia Adams and Zecue C. Adams; and his siblings, Arvella Parker (Gene) and Dewayne Adams (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McAnnally of Garden City, AL; his children, Pamela Hanners (Greg) of Columbia, TN, Barry Adams of Vinemont, AL, Stephen Adams (Nancy) of Hartselle, AL and Jonathan Adams (Suzanne) of Jacksonville, AL.; his grandchildren, Julian Adams, Jacob Adams, Mary Adams O'Barr (Clayton), Caleb Adams, Kyle Hanners and River Lily Soulshine (Justin Williams); his great grandchildren, Sipsey Ponder, Nanalee Ponder, Jax Williams and Ayden Salmen; and his brother Jerald Adams (Joyace). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
