It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Drake of Vinemont, Alabama, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everette Conway Atkerson and Thelma Pearl Watters; her sisters, Dorothy K. Ogle and Cynthia A. Nicholls; her siblings-in-law, Paul J. Nicholls and Lucie B. Atkerson; her brother Thomas E. Atkerson; her siblings-in-law, Mary Belle Atkerson and James O. Ogle Jr.; her spouse Worthington; and her children, David M. Drake, Alane Fraser, W. Kuenn Drake (Cyndy) and Shane F. Drake (Emily). She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
