He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Earl and Betty Lou Kilpatric Pierce; his wife Vicki Pierce of Vinemont; his children, Susan Pierce Cone (Van) of Lexington, Mundi McCormick of Vinemont, Matthew Douglas Pierce (Chasitie) of Hatton and Robert Matthew Reid of Vinemont; his siblings, Nancy Pierce Mermis (Jim) of Dodge City, Lana Slaten (Terry) of Cullman and Rodney Hood (Patricia) of Fredericksburg; and his grandchildren, Tyler McCormick (Lindsey) of Cullman, Vandiver Pierce Cone of Lexington, Clay and Cody Wilson of Hatton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and research.
