He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thomas and Lizzie Pearce Thomas; and his siblings, Jake, Earl, Wilbur, Sheldon Thomas, Myrtle Trowell and Myrtice Raulerson.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Thomas; his children, Arthur David Thomas, Jr., Ronald Sheldon Thomas, Sherree Lynn Sellers and Nathan Ray Thomas (Linda); and his granddaughter Katrina Collier Horton.
