She was predeceased by: her husband P. A. Thompson; her parents, Theodore Sephas and Delia Bell Woody-Stokes; her brother Woody Bell Stokes; her granddaughter Stacey Lynn Thompson; and her sisters, Esther Willodean Wilson and Betty Jean Woods.

She is survived by: her sons, Nathan Thompson (Anna) and Benton Thompson (RoseAnn); her grandchildren, Dustin Thompson (Cortney), Blake Thompson (Jen), Karli Amonite (Karl) and Courtney Stokes (David); her great grandchildren, Gracie, Tyce, Trey Thompson, Tripp, Olen, Theodore Stokes, Klaire and Kate Amonite; and her sister-in-law Laverne Stokes-Laney. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
