We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 81, Charles Thomas Newman (Vinegar Bend, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Newman; his daughter Rhonda Martin; his parents, Ruby Augusta Scarbrough (Harold) and Vardamon Newman; and his siblings, Samuel Newman (Barbara), Phillip Newman and Mary Elizabeth Daniels.

He is survived by: his children, Erin Phipps (James) and Lacey Guy (Sam); his grandchildren, Christian Phipps, Corey Flowers (Tyler) and Elizabeth Hall; his great grandchildren, Everhett Flowers and Samuel Guy Jr.; and his sister Sarah Odell Landrum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
