He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Trussell and Lela Trussell; his wife Peggy Sue Trussell; his son Norman Trussell; and his siblings, Roger Trussell, Clarence Trussell, Herbert Trussell Clairisa Butler, Verna McDonald, Kathleen Thomas, Jeanette Bryant and Doris Rathfock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Thomas (Tony) and Gloria Farris (Tim); his grandchildren, Cassandra Farris Dunnam, Brett Farris and Ashley Trussell Mcalpin; his great grandchildren, Caden Smith, Ella Smith, Kinslee Smith, Kelsie Belk, Wyatt Belk, Dalton Dunnam and Maverick Dunnam; and his siblings, Lorraine Thomas, Jerry Trussell and Bobby Trussell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
