She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parent Sim Embry; her parents, Sim C Embry and Anita Embry; her cousins, Tina Louise Embry Robinson of Belleview, Ann Muir of Boerne, TX and Darrell Embry; and her friend Suzette.

On Tuesday December 8th, 2020, she accepted her heavenly wings after a brief bout with Covid.

Ms Embry worked for Southern Company Services, Hoar Construction, and Thompson Middle School before accepting a early retirement due to a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis.
