He was predeceased by: his wives, Mary Stewart and Katherine Stewart; his daughter Rebecca Alred; and his brothers, Marvin and Paul Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Stewart, Rodney Stewart and Regina Reynolds; and his siblings, Glendon Stewart, Ann Snodgrass and Marita Allen. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
