He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Ledbetter and Albert Lawrence Conwill; his siblings, Willis Housten Conwill and Geraldine Conwill Waldrop; and his siblings-in-law, Harold "Bud" McCranie, Jerry Waldrop, Patsy Donahoo McCranie and Sherry Donahoo Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Donahoo Conwill; his daughter Leslie Conwill Corts (Chris); his grandsons, Conwill Hewitt Corts and Thomas Edward Corts II; his brother-in-law Stan Elliott; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Waldrop Shattuck (Cooper), Beth Elliott Dean (Matt), Grey McCranie (Kim), Jay Elliott (Melissa) and Lane Waldrop (Carrie). He is also survived by two great nieces and two great nephews.
