She was predeceased by: her children, Sammy Beard, Terry Beard, Susan Menger and Lee Clark; and her parents, Ida Florance and Norman Eddy Vickery.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Bell of Vincent, Alabama; her son Roland M. Beard, Jr. (Patsy) of Moody, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law Ann Beard of Moody, Alabama. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
