With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin R. McCarthy of Vincent, Alabama, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret McCarthy; his parents, Ralph McCarthy and Helen McCarthy; his brothers, Donald McCarthy, Bud McCarthy and Paul McCarthy; and his grandson Chad Prickett.
He is survived by: his children, Brian McCarthy, Shelley Harris (Marty), Rene Horton and Valerie Montague (Lee); his siblings, Butch McCarthy, Mike McCarthy, Peggy Upton and Linda Long; and his grandchildren, Christina Hitchcock (Wes), Erik Prickett (Rene), Brandy Mooney (Michael), Christopher Horton (Jessica) and Leah Bailey (Tim). He is also survived by his 12 Great Grandchildren.
