With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Earl Griffin (Vestavia, Alabama), born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Earl Griffin, Sr. and Georgia Pearl Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Miron Hopkins Griffin; his children, James Griffin (Sharon), Kenny Griffin (Susan) and Mary Ann Coggin (Chris); his grandchildren, Mary Lauren McBride (Bart), Kelly Weekley (Matt), Lindsay Hilliard (Brad), Emily Griffin, David Coggin and Daniel Coggin; and his great grandchildren, Griffin Hilliard, Vivi McBride, Collier McBride, Brooks Hilliard and Elizabeth McBride.
