Peter Hunton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Hunton of Vestavia, Alabama, born in Hempstead, New York, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter Hunton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Morris and Madelyn Hunton (Hanlon); his former wife Marilyn Jean Hunton; and his brother Harold Thomas Hunton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hunton (Manley); his children, Colleen Cotter (Clement), Kerry Hunton, Shawn Hunton (Valerie) and Kevin Hunton (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Kathryn, Hannah Jean, Jack, Mary Hanlon, Peter, Will and Hal; and also Julia Hunton (Hanlon). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
