She is survived by: her children, Douglas Hudson Brookshire (Andrea) and Amy Brookshire Reese (Ray); her sister Evelyn Hudson Johnson (Earl); her niece Renee Johnson Harris (Howard); and her grandchildren, Morgan Tucker Reese (DeOndra), Jillian Kathryn Reese, Lillian Jude Brookshire, Hudson James Brookshire and Clare Frances Brookshire.
