It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret R Durfield (Vestavia, Alabama), who passed away on March 14, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, John T. Richardson and Robert R. Durfield; her daughter Martha Ann Richards; her grandchildren, Chris Horton and Infant Catherine Horton; her brothers, John Phillip Jones and Robert B. Jones, Jr.; her parents, Robert B. Jones, Sr. and Maggie Carlin Jones; and her stepmother Jessie T. Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce R. Horton (John) and John Richardson, Jr. (Susan); her stepson Robert R. Durfield, III (Faye); her sister Christa Mae Williams; her niece Debrah Jones Fisher (Brad); and her nephew Robert Jones (Shirley). She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
