She was predeceased by: her husband A. P. Spain; her parents, Joseph Goodwin and Marvie Goodwin; and her siblings, Betty Lovelace, Sybil Goodwin, Vernon Goodwin and Thurman Goodwin.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Spain, Sue Colley (Dan Colley) and Cheryl Arledge; and her grandchildren, Christopher Spain, Melissa Thompson (Alfred Thompson), Clay Colley (Tracy Colley), Ronald Arledge, Wendi Thomas (Troy Thomas) and Brian Arledge. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
