It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Houston E. Brown (Vestavia, Alabama), who passed away on June 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Houston E. Brown to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carolyn, John Rufus, Francis, Glenn, Charles and Morris.

He is survived by: his brother Carroll of New York, NY; his children, Marc of Portland, OR, Cris (Judy), Serena (Reg) of Birmingham, AL and Jim (Debbie) of Wilmington, DE.; and his grandchildren, Rachel Peck (Jason), Anna Spink (Brent), Cooper Brown (Becca), Laura Wood (Chance), Matthew Brown (Taylor), Ian Patterson, Melissa Lee (Rob), Luke Brown (Sara), Joe Brown (Blair) and Elizabeth Brown. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the United Methodist Children's Home.
