He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Sapp and Anna Sapp; and his sister Midgen Witham. He is survived by: his children, Morgan Sapp (Diane), Erin Sapp (Melinda), Matthew Sapp (Melissa) and Sean Sapp (Kelsey); his brother Philip Sapp (Brenda); his grandchildren, Andrea, Christina, Jessica, Danielle, Joel, Hannah and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Elliott, Ida Mae, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Amber.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
