With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Ann Burt (Vestavia Hills, Alabama), who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vera Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vera Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Curry Geise and Vera Geise (Daniel); and her siblings, John, Bill, Sam, Jimmy and Evelynn.
She is survived by: her sons, John R. and Daniel G.; her daughter-in-law Andra; and her grandchild Erin Ann Skinner (Burt). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southminster Presbyterian Church (1124 Montgomery Hwy, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216).
