She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Gordon Crocker and Essie Luna McManus Crocker; her husband Frank Sheffield; her brother Gerald Crocker; and her son Gary Sheffield.

She is survived by: her son Dennis Sheffield (Peggy); her granddaughters, Katie Sheffield and Sara Sheffield (Cameron); her daughter-in-law Sandy Sheffield (Gary); and her grandchildren-in-law, Adam (Ashley), Abbey Northington (Lyle), Amanda Strassler (Eric) and Austin (Alyssa). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Shades Mountain Baptist Church or Shady Grove Baptist Church, Lacey's Chapel.
