She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Doss and Ernest Doss. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Parrish (Jimmy) and Katherine Blount (Wendell); her grandchildren, Taylor Shaw, Melissa Smith (Kevin), Bradford Blount (Jayne), Amy Corbitt (Jeff), Jim Parrish (Deena) and Meg Branch (Kurt); her great grandchildren, Avery Smith, Peyton Smith, Jake Corbitt, Brooke Corbitt, Blakely Parrish, Jack Branch, Abby Parrish, Charlie Branch and Maggie Parrish; and her husband Charles Dye. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
