With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Duke Wegener of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Wegener; her parents, Bill Duke and Louise Duke; her siblings, Bill, David Duke, Betsy Custer, Kay Wisener and Evelyn Kirsch; and her son-in-law Larry Hurd.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Hurd and Hank Wegener (Penny); her granddaughter Jill Wegener; and her brother Taylor Duke (Nellie). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
