He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive B. Cooper and Thomas A. Booth; his sister Janet Booth Esia; and his in-laws, Lester C. and Peggy B. Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Wyatt Booth; his children, Robin Gardenhire (Doug) of Marietta, GA and Michael (Lindsay) of Vestavia Hills; his grandchildren, Ali, Ella Gardenhire, Hayes and Charles Booth; his siblings, Larry A. Booth (Lora) of Williamston, NC and Sharon C. Dennis; his brothers-in-law, Randy Wyatt (Yolanda) and Wesley Wyatt (Amanda); and his friends, Steve Chapman, Mike Smith and Bob Arnwine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
