He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Bessie Lindley Kitchens and Lester Haskew Kitchens. He is survived by: his wife Linda Payne Kitchens; his children, Dr. Jerry L. Kitchens, Jr. (Tricia), Kelly Kitchens Williams (Coke) and Kim Kitchens Leibach Shotts (Steve); his grandchildren, Payne Kitchens (Lizzi), Lindley Kitchens Hereford (Patrick), Mary Campbell Kitchens Murphy (Miles), Anna Kitchens, Cecilia Kitchens, Fulton Williams, Faulkner Williams, Larkin Williams, Cooper Leibach (Emily) and Taylor Leibach; and his great grandchildren, Henry Hereford, William and Amelia Kitchens.
