He is survived by: his children, Drew Hayes (Susan) of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Millie Hayes Kennedy (Phil) of Vestavia Hills and Demorah Hayes of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Micah Hayes (Amber) of Kansas City, Meagan Hayes Turnbow (Kyle) of Murfreesboro, Maleah Hayes Dillon (Josh), Morgan Hayes of Nashville, Meredith Hayes Smith (Chase) of Shelbyville, Emily Kennedy Armour (Joseph) of Oklahoma City, Rebekah Kennedy Carroll (McKenzie) of Memphis and Kathryn Kennedy of Birmingham, Alabama; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Hudson Turnbow, Annie, Caroline, Emma Dillon, Charlotte, Ben, Calvin Hayes and Claire Armour; his brother Hoyle Hayes (Jan) of Boaz, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Peggy Bearden of Boaz, Alabama..
