He was predeceased by: his parents, James Despinakis and Stamatula Despinakis; and his sisters, Alexandra Athas and Demetra Grammas. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Bostwick (Ted), Harriet Despinakis and Pamela Kaufmann (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Johnny Bostwick, William Reis, Peter Reis, Miller Kaufmann, Sydney Kaufmann and Barbara Simpson (Babs).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
