She is survived by: her children, Elaine Cole, Chris Smith (Teri) and Sara Lawless; her grandchildren, Christina Poe (Andy), Christopher Lawless, Ryan Smith (Samantha), Ethan Cole and Nicholas Smith (Izabela); and her sister-in-law Betty Sue Smith.
In lieu of flowers, a donation towards the purchase of library books for the Vestavia Day School at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church can be made in her name.
