We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2023, at the age of 78, Donna Black Hite of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Black and Polly Black; her sister Diane Martin; and her granddaughter Mia Hite. She is survived by: her husband Harold Hite; her daughter Jennifer Atkins (Victor III); her stepsons, Brian Hite (Jenny) and Preston Hite (Janelle); her grandchildren, Victor Atkins IV, Ellefair Atkins, Archer Atkins, Evan Hite, Karis Hite, Logan Hite, Nathan Hite and Owen Hite; and her caregivers, Isha Hill, Sherry Joes, Lesha Lewis, LaToya McHenry, Anne Njuguna and Jami Square.
She waged a valiant fight with Alzheimer's over the last years.
