Blanche Sundberg Sammons Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Sundberg Sammons of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, born in Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Leon Sundberg and Birdie Lou Martin of Chilton County, Alabama.; her husbands, Franklin Ward Plaice and Homer Dean Sammons; her son Richard Ward Plaice; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Waldrop Plaice.

She is survived by: her sister Betty Sundberg Choate; her children, Johanna Jill Plaice and Dennis Dean Sammons (Darlene); and her grandsons, Joshua Ward Plaice (Lauren) and Zachery Benton Plaice (Maria).
