It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Vines of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gurley Vines and Taylor Vines of Texas. He is survived by: his wife Anita Reed Vines; his children, Jeremy Benton Vines (Karen), Jessica Brooke Vines-Holt (Collin) and Nathan Reed Vines; his grandchildren, Milani Jasmine Vines, Ariella Eden Holt and Isaac Kingston Vines; and his siblings, Daniel Gurley Vines (Natalia), Andrea Vines Hawkins and Vicky Vines Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Robert E. Reed Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Foundation.
