He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gene and Belva Jean Pennington (Stapp); and his brother David (Jeannie). He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean (Hudson); his sons, Jeremy Michael (Leah) of Columbiana and William Spencer (Sarah) of Tuscaloosa; his grandsons, John Taylor, Cooper and Hudson; his sister Rena Jaudon (Mike); his nieces, Gracie Jaudon, Keri Rogers (Chad) and Amy Shaw (Kyle); and his nephew Richard Tyler Pennington (Sarah). He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
