He was predeceased by: his father Junior Hayes; and his nephews, Christopher Hayes and Nicholas Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Brittany Baker, Jeremy Hayes and Josh Hayes; his stepchildren, Michelle, Misty and Bud Newell; and his siblings, James Hayes (Debbie) and Cheryl June Raper (Tom). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
