He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morgan and Rae Franks (Gilmer); and his siblings, Herschel Franks, John Larry Franks and Doris Jean Franks.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Franks of Vernon, AL; his sons, Kenneth Scott Franks of Caledonia, MS and Chad Franks of Vernon, AL; his grandchildren, Morgan Franks, Raichel Pinkerton, Farrah Franks and Gavin Franks; his great grandchildren, Kinsleigh Franks, Tucker Franks and Sawyer Franks; and his brother Samuel Franks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (8901 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
