With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Owsley Sr. of Vernon, Alabama, born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Reese and Mary Nell Owsley. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Gross Owsley of Vernon, AL; his children, Johnny Owsley, Jr. (Lezlie) of Nashville, TN and Emily Owsley Williams (Justin) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and his grandchildren, Jack Glyien Williams, Levi Craig Owsley and Emmaline Christine Williams.
