She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl Gipson and Jeanette Lucille Rubino Gipson. She is survived by: her husband Roger Dale Spann of Vernon, AL; her children, Matthew Spann (Courtney) of Bay Minette, AL and Jennifer Johnson (Hank) of Columbus, MS.; her siblings, Robert Gipson (Vicki) of Odenville, AL, Richard Gipson (Terri) of Springville, AL, David Gipson of Springville, AL, James Gipson of Trussville, AL, Charles Gipson (Jennifer) of Pell City, AL. and Cathy Harris (David) of Trussville, AL.; and her grandchildren, Destiny McIntyre (Chaz), Savannah Gann (Caleb), Damon Colburn, Conner Spann and Anna Spann. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Otts Funeral Home (4255 US-278, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Morton Chapel Cemetery.
