It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helon Delk of Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mutt Merchant and Jettie Lee Merchant; her husband Maurice D. Delk; her granddaughter Leah Gilliam; and her brother Larry Merchant.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Delk (Judy) and Randy Delk (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Rachel Wood (Jay) and Nathaniel Delk (Sloan); and her sisters, Francis Haney (Coy) and Winnie Chloe White. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
