He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sloat and Annie Sloat; and his grandson Dawson Studdard. He is survived by: his wife Artie Boshell; and his children, Jennifer Murdock (Clyde), Kayla Studdard (Cody) and Justin Wallace (Brooke).
