It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Frye of Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Wright and Maddie Wright; her husbands, Claudus Mason, Dorsey Higdon and Rollie Frye; her children, Linda Mason Ashby and Randy George Mason; her granddaughters, Kathy Ashby and Kristi Mason Wetzel; and her son-in-law Roy Ashby, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mark Ashby (Teresa), Janet Ashby Scola (Joey), Phebe Mason Gaines, Benjamin Lee Mason and Kara Ashby Martin (Colby); her great grandchildren, Lindsay, Caroline, Reed, Brady, Noah and Emerson; and her great great grandchildren, Kash, Ashby Lynn, Beckham and Ryker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
