It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Cecil Gilliam of Vernon, Alabama, born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Lee Gilliam (Tina) of Trussville, AL and Peggy Annette Pennington Gilliam (Larry) of Vernon, AL; his wife Cynthia Nonamaker of Columbus, MS; his son Zackary Ryan Gilliam of Atlanta, GA; his stepdaughter Christa Nonamaker of Columbus, MS.; his siblings, Shannon Gilliam of Caledonia, MS. and Ashley Young Jennings of Huntsville, AL.; and his grandchildren, Lily King and Blayde Edmondson.
