He was predeceased by: his parents, Murel Carr and Tezzie Carr; his daughter Linda Howard; and his siblings, Buford Carr, Butch Reed, Donnie Wayne Reed, Polly Livingston, Virginia Hildreth and Hazel Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Carr of Vernon, AL; and his children, Steve Carr (Kaye) of Winfield, AL, James Carr (Kaye) of Vernon, AL, Lynn Carr of Columbus, MS and Lisa Riley (Butch) of Gallion, AL. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
