He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Stella Mae Collins (Black); and his wife Ginger Collins (Rasbury). He is survived by: his daughters, Lindsay Emerson (Scott) of Vernon and Katherine Cunningham (John) of Millport; and his grandchildren, Branson Emerson, Evan Cunningham, Sam Cunningham and Anniston Emerson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (8901 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Vernon (9071 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592).
