He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hardy Jones and Doshie Dykes Jones; and his wife Wilma Catherine Jones. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Jones Foshee (Jimmy) of Thorsby, Gary Jones (Dena) of Maplesville, Sharon Jones Barefield of Montevallo and Mark Jones (Laura) of Thorsby; and his grandchildren, Josh Lett (Emily), Chad Foshee (Robin), Scott Gentry, Austin Jones (Heather), Jessica Taylor (Jeremy), Holly Payne (Jonathan) and Josie Hester (Grant). He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
The family request no flowers, but encourage a memorial contribution in Roy's memory be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church 6454 County Road 24 Verbena, AL 36091.
