She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Goggins; her husband Major Samuel R Hudson; her children, John R Hudson and Ruth Hudson; her granddaughter Amy Hudson; and her mother Alzie Mae Goggins.

She is survived by: her son Samuel Lorenzo Hudson; her grandchildren, Will Hudson and Shonda Hudson; her daughter-in-law Lisa Hudson; and her great grandchild Arianna Lee-Sullivan.
