Jesse Boartfield Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2021, at the age of 79, Jesse Boartfield Jr. of Verbena, Alabama, born in Jefferson, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ophelia Cox Boartfield and Raymond Boartfield; and his siblings, Charles Boartfield and Kaye Riley. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Boartfield; his children, Laurel Burns (Darryl), Jesse Boartfield III (Cecilla), Robert Boartfield, Chris Boartfield (Sarah) and Dorothy Fox; and his siblings, Betty Dollar (Sonny), Faye Wilkes (Jeff), Lois Cash (David) and Curtis "Bubba" Boartfield (Rachel). He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
