He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Henry Russell and Fay Lugrettia Russell; and his brother Danny Russell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Felder Russell; his daughters, Terresa Lyn Gunn (Randy) and Catriona Leann McBrayer; his stepson Bryan Bulmer (Katie); his grandchildren, Bobbie Cessna (Chris), Randi Connell (Nolan), Kayla McBrayer, Hannah Bulmer, Ava Bulmer and Daniel McBrayer (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Eliza Connell, Michael Connell and Luke McBrayer. He is also survived by Brother and Sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Verbena Methodist Church (8060 Co Rd 59, Verbena, AL 36091). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
